I designate my contribution to the Ted Budd for Senate Primary 2022 Election debt retirement. For amounts in excess of my Ted Budd for Senate Primary 2022 Election contribution limit or if the Primary debt is retired, I authorize any remaining amounts from my contribution to be designated to the Ted Budd for Senate General 2022 Election.
Federal law requires political committees to use their best efforts to obtain and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in an election cycle.
Contributions to Ted Budd for Senate are not deductible as charitable donations for federal income tax purposes.
Contributions from corporations, federal contractors, and foreign nationals are prohibited. An individual may contribute up to $5,800 ($2,900 to the Primary 2022 election Debt Retirement and $2,900 to the General 2022 election). Couples may contribute $11,600 ($5,800 to the Primary 2022 election Debt Retirement and $5,800 to the General 2022 election) from a joint account, but such a contribution requires both signatures.
The Federal Election Commission requires that all of these statements are true for anyone contributing to the campaign:
I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
I am at least eighteen years old. I am not, nor am I making this contribution on behalf of, a corporation, labor organization, national bank, foreign national without a green card, a federal contractor, or any other federally impermissible source.
